Role Description

Excellent Gourmet Foods Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistants to join our team. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining financial records and supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar accounting assistant role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work efficiently even under tight deadlines and sustained pressure
  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Strong work ethics and willing to learn
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Can start ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks
  • Accurately check, record and process Sales reports, Royalty Reports and all receivable transactions
  • Assist in preparation of other reports required by the government (e.g., BIR, city government, etc.)
  • Prepare checks for payment to suppliers and store reimbursements in a weekly basis
  • Communicate queries to the concerned MOD and routinely follow-up pending issues encountered
  • Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting
  • Perform other duties related to the above duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time by the department head
