YOUR IMPACT ON THE BUSINESS

The Legal Intern will assist the Legal Department in conducting legal research, drafting documents, and supporting various corporate and compliance activities. This role provides practical experience in a professional legal setting, allowing the intern to apply academic knowledge to real-world legal matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform basic administrative duties, such as organizing files, making copies, sending and receiving casefiles, writing emails, making phone calls; and other tasks related to the Legal Department's operations;
  • Conduct research for attorneys and schedule their appointments;
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents such as contracts, memoranda, letters, and pleadings;
  • Organize and maintain legal files and case records;
  • Attend meetings, hearings, or conferences with supervising counsel when required;
  • Summarize case files, statutes, and legal opinions for internal reference;
  • Support the preparation of compliance reports and documentation for regulatory agencies; and
  • Maintain confidentiality of all legal and sensitive information.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education. Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or in a law school program
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, legal research tools and software.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic legal environment.
  • Working Setup. Hybrid, in 114 East Offices Bldg., Aguirre St., Legazpi Village, Makati;
  • Working Schedule. Weekdays; and
  • Provided with Allowance.
