Construction Warehouseman

Job Summary

The Warehouseman is the overall in charge of the materials inventory at the project site's warehouse. The role of the warehouseman is to receive all incoming material deliveries and issue them to appropriate contractors.

Job Responsibilities

• Report to the Junior Construction Engineer the materials nearing or below re-order levels in the warehouse to facilitate timely replenishment
• Receive and check delivery of materials (quality & quantity) versus the items listed on the delivery receipts and purchase order
• Issue materials to the requesting contractor with proper documentation and approval
• Conduct monthly inventory of materials inside the warehouse, ensuring what is recorded in the ERP System is tally with the actual material count
• Report inconsistencies in materials inventory in the warehouse to the Construction Engineer
• Organize the warehouse ensuring all materials are put in proper place, with correct label and can be pulled-out on time
• Purchase immediately needed construction materials (urgent items) and ensure that the best quality at lower price items will be bought.
• Check for the unused materials issued to contractors and ensure that it is returned to the warehouse
• Ensure that all tools and light equipment issued to workers are returned to the warehouse after usage
• Compliance with company's approved Work Instruction/Business Process, Interim Guidelines, Memo's and company handbook

Educational Background

• Senior High School Graduate or Graduate of Warehouse Inventory Management

Work Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience

Work Location

• Brgy. Gaya gaya, San Jose del Monte Bulacan

Working Schedule

• Monday to Saturday - 8am to 5pm
