Ascend Building Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Materials Engineer to lead quality assurance and product development initiatives. The role includes managing in-house material testing, maintaining product databases, generating reports, providing technical training and advisory support, and assisting in product marketing through technical content development and client engagement

1. In-House Testing

  • Coordinate with departments to procure and prepare samples from incoming shipments.
  • Conduct and assist in routine quality tests to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Document, interpret, and report test results, promptly addressing any quality issues.

2. Database Upkeep & Analysis

  • Maintain and update the product database with accurate shipment data.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and improvement areas.
  • Provide insights to support material selection and procurement decisions.

3. Report Generation

  • Prepare and present quality assurance reports highlighting key metrics and findings.
  • Summarize trends and recommendations for management and project teams.
  • Distribute periodic performance reports to relevant stakeholders.

4. Technical Training & Advisory

  • Develop and conduct training on material properties, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance on material selection, application, and issue resolution.
  • Lead product orientation sessions to ensure proper material use in projects.

5. Product Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with Marketing in developing technical content for brochures, presentations, and client materials.
  • Support product positioning and promotion through performance-based insights.
  • Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations to enhance brand credibility

Job Qualifications:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Must possess strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in using laboratory testing equipment and data management systems.
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail and strong presentation skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Las Piñas City, with the option to be based in the new Bonifacio Global City office starting in 2026.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
