Job Summary:

The General Maintenance Staff is responsible for performing routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and general upkeep of company facilities, equipment, and systems. The role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections of building facilities, systems, and equipment.
  • Perform minor repairs in plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical works.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to HVAC, lighting, and utilities.
  • Replace and maintain fixtures, furniture, and other facility assets.
  • Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of work areas, tools, and storage rooms.
  • Respond promptly to emergency repair and maintenance requests.
  • Assist contractors or technicians during major repairs or installations.
  • Monitor and report equipment or facility conditions that need further attention.
  • Follow company safety guidelines and maintain compliance with regulations.
  • Support other operational needs as assigned by the supervisor.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or vocational course in electrical, mechanical, or related field.
  • Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman work is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Physically fit and able to lift, climb, or perform manual tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or emergencies when needed.

Job Type: Full-time
