About the Role:

We are looking for a Data & Business Analyst with cross-functional capabilities to support reporting, analytics, and general business analysis initiatives. While the primary focus is on data analysis, the role also includes operational and business analysis responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of translating data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

● Support data architecture management, integrity checks, and data investigations.

● Develop, maintain, and analyze reports to identify trends, anomalies, and risks, especially related to credit risk.

● Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting and dashboard development.

● Apply advanced data modeling, data mining, machine learning, or statistical techniques to generate actionable business insights.

● Design and build dashboards and scorecards for senior management reporting and risk management.

● Assist in system-to-system data integration and ensure data consistency and reliability.

● Create prototypes and mockups of dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics for end users.

● Conduct root cause analysis of system or data issues using technical knowledge of applications and interfaces.

● Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze requirements for enhancements, integrations, and new initiatives.

● Present data-driven insights and recommendations clearly and concisely to support informed decision-making.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

● 2 years of experience in data analysis or related roles.

● 1 year of hands-on experience in SQL and Tableau for data visualization.

● Solid understanding of databases and data warehousing principles.

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify and convey complex concepts.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

● Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

● Proven ability to adopt and learn new technologies, frameworks, or methodologies as needed.

● Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality outcomes consistently.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience working in a startup environment.

● Background in developing diagnostic or prescriptive BI insights.

● Familiarity with machine learning models or statistical techniques is a plus.
