Position Overview:

The Data Analyst for Business Development is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and

interpreting data to support informed decision-making across the business development

team. This role plays a key part in identifying trends, measuring performance, and

providing actionable insights that drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

The Data Analyst works closely with the BD Director and Client Services team to

optimize strategies and ensure business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

● Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources (sales, client feedback,

market research, CRM, digital platforms).

● Develop reports and dashboards to track KPIs, business performance, and client

engagement metrics.

● Provide insights and recommendations to the BD Director for strategic planning

and decision-making.

● Identify trends, opportunities, and risks that can impact business development

initiatives.

● Support client services and account management teams with data-driven insights

for client retention and upselling.

● Prepare market analysis and competitor research to guide business development

strategies.

● Automate recurring reports and improve efficiency in data management

processes.

Job Description – Data Analyst (Business Development)

● Present findings in a clear and visual format for both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, marketing, creative)

to ensure data accuracy and alignment.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics,

Computer Science, or related field.

● 2–4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in business development,

sales, or marketing analytics.

● Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret complex data

sets.

● Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,

Google Data Studio).

● Experience with CRM systems and database management is an advantage.

● Ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

● Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

● Strong communication and presentation skills for reporting findings to leadership.
