Job Overview:

The Inventory Control Assistant supports the monitoring and management of company inventory to ensure accuracy and efficiency. The role involves maintaining updated inventory records, assisting in stock counts, and ensuring proper handling and storage of items. It also includes preparing reports and checking third-party billings.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management – maintain and update inventory records, including item, descriptions, quantities, production date, and locations.
  • Stock Control – monitor inventory levels to ensure they meet operational needs while minimizing excess or obsolete stock.
  • Inventory Accuracy – conduct regular physical inventory counts.
  • Quality Control – ensure that inventory items are stored and handled in a way that preserves their quality and prevents damage or spoilage.
  • Documentation – maintain accurate documentation of inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments.
  • Reporting – generate reports on inventory report.
  • Checking or Billing – monitor and checking third party monthly billing.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or equivalent. FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME TO APPLY.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
  • Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control best practices.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills
