Responsible for editing both long-form and short-form YouTube videos with a focus on storytelling, pacing, and branding. Tasks include adding graphics, animations, sound effects, music, and subtitles while maintaining consistent visual and audio quality. Collaborates with content writers and other teams to align videos with brand objectives, stays current on editing trends and YouTube best practices, and manages file organization and post-production workflows.

  1. Will continue with the editing of the videos in YouTube

  2. Edit long-form and short-form videos for YouTube with attention to storytelling, pacing, and branding

  3. Incorporate graphics, animations, sound effects, music, and subtitles
  4. Ensure consistent visual style, color grading, and audio levels across videos.
  5. Work closely with content writers and other teams to align video goals with brand objectives.
  6. Stay updated with the latest editing trends, YouTube algorithm updates, and best practices.
  7. Manage file organization, backup, and post-production workflow

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a video editor.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro).
  • Strong understanding of cinematography principles, lighting, and audio recording.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of social media trends and video optimization for platforms like Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, and the likes
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
