About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead – ED / Surgery Coding to oversee the daily operations of a coding and auditing team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Emergency Department (ED) Facility, Surgery, and Observation Coding, combined with strong leadership skills in a BPO environment.
This role requires ensuring 100% productivity and quality targets are consistently met while driving continuous improvement in team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the coding and auditing team.
- Ensure accuracy, productivity, and client quality expectations are met.
- Monitor and manage workload, attendance, and attrition to optimize utilization.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven expertise in ED Facility, Surgery, and Observation Coding (Required).
- 3–4+ years of hands-on experience in medical coding.
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience (Team Lead in coding process).
- Minimum 2 years of BPO experience
