JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Brand Specialist will play a strategic and operational role in driving brand growth and consistency for
key solar energy brands within the Distribution Business Unit. This role requires a deep understanding of B2B and
B2C brand positioning in the renewable energy and electronics sectors. The successful candidate will be
responsible for managing multi-brand marketing efforts, coordinating product launches, and ensuring unified
brand representation across all channels and partners.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Brand Management & Execution
○ Develop and implement brand strategies for solar products, batteries, and other products under
distribution
○ Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied across all touchpoints (online, offline,
merchandising, etc.)
○ Localize and adapt global brand content to fit regional market trends and cultural nuances
○ Drive initiatives that increase brand awareness, customer trust, and market penetration
● Campaign & Content Development
○ Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns including digital, trade, retail, events, and
reseller programs
○ Coordinate the creation of brand materials—catalogs, brochures, POS materials, presentations,
digital assets
○ Collaborate with digital and creative teams to develop content tailored for target customer
segments (installers, distributors, end-users)
● Product Launches & Communication
○ Lead or support product introductions for new SKUs across assigned brands in alignment with
sales and marketing goals
○ Ensure timely availability of launch assets—datasheets, sales kits, videos, technical briefs
○ Coordinate with principals and suppliers to align messaging and technical accuracy
● Market Research & Competitive Analysis
○ Monitor market trends, competitor positioning, pricing, and promotional tactics
○ Generate actionable insights and recommendations to adjust brand tactics and capture
opportunities
○ Track customer feedback, market sentiment, and product performance for continuous
improvement
● Vendor & Partner Management
○ Act as the primary liaison with brand principals and marketing representatives of partner
brands
○ Manage the co-branding and cooperative marketing processes with vendors and agencies
○ Track and report on usage of brand marketing funds, rebates, and MDF (Market Development
Funds)
● Performance Monitoring & Reporting
○ Define and track brand KPIs including awareness, engagement, and contribution to sales
○ Provide regular reporting and presentations to leadership with strategic recommendations
○ Manage budgets and timelines related to brand projects and campaigns
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
● Education
○ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
required
○ MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is a plus
● Experience
○ Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing, or strategic
communications, preferably within the renewable energy, electronics, or tech distribution
sectors
○ Proven track record managing multi-brand portfolios across B2B and B2C channels
○ Experience with product launches, campaign development, and partner/vendor marketing
collaboration
○ Background in managing co-branded marketing efforts and market development funds (MDF) is
strongly preferred
● Strategic & Technical Competencies
○ Brand Strategy & Execution: Deep understanding of brand positioning, identity systems, and
go-to-market execution across traditional and digital platforms
○ Campaign & Content Development: Skilled in conceptualizing and executing integrated
marketing campaigns across paid, owned, and earned media
○ Market Intelligence: Proficient in competitive analysis, market segmentation, and leveraging
insights to drive brand differentiation and tactical adjustments
○ Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze KPIs (brand awareness, engagement, ROI) and
translate data into actionable strategies
○ Project Management: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple
stakeholders, manage tight deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
● Tools & Platforms
○ Proficient in marketing and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce,
Mailchimp, Meta Business Suite, or equivalent
○ Working knowledge of design and content tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, etc.
○ Comfortable using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, )
● Interpersonal & Soft Skills
○ Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a strong attention to detail
and tone of voice alignment
○ Creative thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation in brand
storytelling
○ Collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments and can liaise
effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
○ Adaptable and resilient, able to pivot strategies in response to market changes, shifting
priorities, or stakeholder feedback
