JOB SUMMARY (PARAGRAPH FORMAT)
The General Accountant/Officer keeps track of the company's financial records, creates financial reports and regulatory reports, as well as provide external auditors with the schedules and required data during preparation of the audited financial statements. He/she prepares the monthly, quarterly and annual reportorial requirements to comply with BIR rulings and due dates.
JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND TASKS) including the reports submitted and the backlogs to be performed:
Monthly financial report preparation and preparation of the supporting schedules such as:
v Monthly bank reconciliations
v Aging of Accounts Receivables
v Advances/ Other Receivables
v Prepayments and Other Assets
v Lapsing Schedules for all PPE
v Breakdown of Accounts Payables Trade
v Non-Trade Payables
v Other Current Liabilities
v Non-Current Liabilities
v Shareholders' Equity Movement
v Trucking & Hauling Expenses
v Validation of Marketing Expense Report based on marketing expenses submitted by Sales
v Preparation of Sales Reports for the 3 companies
v Consolidation of annual sales forecast and reforecast as needed
v Sales and gross margin analysis
v Compute for the Accrual of Expenses for purposes of FS preparation and matching of revenues against expenses.
Statutory Compliance
v Submission and payment of taxes for assigned company/ies and ensure compliance to BIR deadlines and tax regulations. The following are the reports or payments being prepared:
Every 10th of the month remittance of taxes withheld on salaries
Etc,,etc,,,
v Prepares documentation in cases of BIR's LOA findings
v Custodian of Sales Invoice and Delivery Receipts – in charge of issuance, monitoring and request for printing
Others
v Perform other job-related duties as directed by immediate superior
