The Warehouse Checker ensures accuracy, completeness, and quality of all inbound and outbound deliveries in the warehouse. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity—especially for perishable and frozen goods—and ensuring that inventory records match the actual physical stock. The Warehouse Checker works closely with the warehouse team to uphold company standards for food safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and Inspection

Verify and check all incoming deliveries against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Receipts (DRs) for correct quantity, description, and product condition.

Inspect perishable and frozen goods for compliance with quality and temperature standards before acceptance.

Record discrepancies such as shortages, overages, or damaged goods, and immediately report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

  1. Outbound and Dispatch

Ensure accuracy of items prepared for delivery according to Sales Orders (SOs) and Delivery Schedules.

Double-check picking and packing against delivery documents before loading.

Confirm proper handling and loading of goods to maintain quality during transit.

  1. Inventory Control

Assist in conducting daily cycle counts and periodic physical inventory.

Report any stock variances, expired items, or potential stock issues.

Support in maintaining organized storage, following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) principles.

  1. Documentation and Reporting

Ensure all delivery and receiving forms are properly signed, filed, and submitted to relevant departments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date checking logs for accountability.

  1. Compliance and Safety

Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

Observe proper warehouse safety practices and report hazards to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or college level, preferably with experience in warehouse operations.

At least 1–2 years of experience as a warehouse checker or similar role, preferably in food distribution.

Knowledge of inventory control, documentation, and food handling standards.

Attention to detail, with strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work in cold storage environments and handle physical tasks.

Work Conditions:

Exposure to cold storage and refrigerated areas.

Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 25–30 kg.

May require extended hours or shifting schedules based on operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,070.00 per month
