About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Student Development and Guidance Specialist to join our team. This role plays a key part in supporting college students by providing guidance, counseling, and programs that empower them to achieve academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a comprehensive Guidance Program aligned with academic objectives.
• Provide guidance services including counseling, testing, placement, evaluation, and group support.
• Prepare and deliver intervention programs for students referred for further assessment.
• Develop yearly guidance modules that address the evolving needs of the student body.
• Conduct psychological testing and aptitude assessments when necessary.
• Identify and address school issues affecting academic performance.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student development.
• Facilitate seminars and workshops on school issues, career planning, and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate and updated student records in the central database.
• Assist the Admissions Office with entrance exams and group testing.
• Refer cases requiring specialized intervention to partner psychological clinics.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a Master's Degree in Guidance Counseling.
• 3–5 years of experience in guidance and counseling (college/tertiary level preferred).
• Strong skills in counseling, testing, placement, and research.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work with diverse student backgrounds and personalities.
• Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
• Independent, proactive, and passionate about student development.
• Willing to work on Saturdays.

Nice to Have:

• Registered Guidance Counselor (RGC) license.
• Knowledge of teaching models and modern guidance practices.
• Familiarity with new technologies and digital tools in education.
