We are seeking a Finance Controller to join our client, a real estate company. The role will oversee the Finance Department, ensuring accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic support for the company's real estate projects. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations of the Finance Department.
  • Review and approve disbursements, online bank payments, payroll, and tenant billing.
  • Monitor the company's cash flow, daily cash position, and manage excess funds, including current and long-term investments.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with banks and other financial service providers.
  • Review and approve cash flow forecasts prepared by the Treasury Supervisor.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Lead budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR and LGU regulations.
  • Manage internal and external audits, including BIR audits.
  • Attend management, executive, and board meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • CPA or equivalent, with 3–5 years of solid experience in finance/accounting, preferably in real estate.
  • 1–3 years in leadership or supervisory roles overseeing accounting operations, controllership, and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and statutory reporting.
  • Experienced in audits, month- and year-end closings, and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Skilled in process automation, cash flow management, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Strategic, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence.
