We are seeking a Finance Controller to join our client, a real estate company. The role will oversee the Finance Department, ensuring accurate financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic support for the company's real estate projects. Responsibilities include managing cash flow, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and maintaining strong relationships with banks and financial service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the overall operations of the Finance Department.
  • Review and approve disbursements, online bank payments, payroll, and tenant billing.
  • Monitor the company's cash flow, daily cash position, and manage excess funds, including current and long-term investments.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with banks and other financial service providers.
  • Review and approve cash flow forecasts prepared by the Treasury Supervisor.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
  • Lead budget preparation and monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with BIR and LGU regulations.
  • Manage internal and external audits, including BIR audits.
  • Attend management, executive, and board meetings, providing financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4–5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting; background in real estate is a plus. CPA is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience, supporting daily accounting operations, compliance, and reporting.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS/GAAP, internal controls, and statutory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with audits, month-end and year-end closing, and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Exposure to process improvements, cash flow monitoring, budgeting support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive, with the ability to support management and drive operational efficiency.
