Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management

  • Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or similar virtualization platforms
  • Monitor virtual machine performance, resource allocation, and capacity planning
  • Manage virtual networking, storage configurations, and backup solutions
  • Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security maintenance

Operations & Monitoring

  • Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts through centralized management tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues, including VM provisioning, migration, and performance optimization
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and incident responses
  • Coordinate with vendors and support teams for hardware and software issues
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity, and availability

Security & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain security best practices for virtualized environments
  • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards
  • Manage user access controls and authentication systems
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing virtualization environments (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or equivalent)
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel)
  • Strong networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, and firewall management
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions
  • Experience with monitoring tools (SCOM, Nagios, PRTG, or similar)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php60, Php80,000.00 per month
