We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Treasury & Accounting Staff to manage and resolve pending treasury issues, with a primary focus on bounced checks. Once treasury tasks are stabilized, the role will expand to include general accounting support. This position is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a sense of urgency, and a desire to grow within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury

  • Assist in check bouncing, ensuring compliance with internal controls and banking requirements
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to bounced checks, including coordination with banks and internal departments
  • Maintain accurate records of returned checks and follow up with banks for resolution
  • Coordinate with other departments for check requests
  • Assists in preparing regular reports on check status, bounced and returned checks, and dormant/stale check monitoring
  • Assist in account closures and transitions, ensuring compliance with internal controls and banking requirements
  • Assist in reconciling treasury transactions and ensuring proper documentation
  • Support treasury team in monitoring cash flow and other bank transactions

Accounting Support

  • Assist in recording reviewing branch daily cash reports and entries
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Help prepare financial statements and reports as needed
  • Coordinate with other departments for accounting-related transactions
  • Provide administrative support for audits and compliance reviews
  • Other necessary tasks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in treasury or accounting roles preferred
  • Familiarity with banking procedures and financial systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
