The Treasury Assistant supports the Finance Department in the daily treasury operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. The role involves monitoring bank balances, preparing fund transfers, handling disbursements, maintaining financial records, and assisting in cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accept payments from members/representatives/guests and issue official receipts for payments received. Ensure such are posted to the accounts same day.
  • Monitor issuance & account all official receipts. Ensure all blank forms are secured & missing series/booklets are identified & investigated timely.
  • Attend to inquiries from members.
  • Prepare Daily Collection Report (DCR) for payments received.
  • Count, with a witness (Auditor), the collections received within the day, together with the remittances of the Membership Relations Associate.
  • To prepare the daily bank deposit slips & ensure that all collection, whether cash or check are deposited the next banking day.
  • To conduct a self-count of the Petty Cash, Revolving & Change Funds on a daily basis.
  • To ensure that established policies and procedures relating to cash, petty cash, revolving fund, operating funds & collections are strictly adhered to at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a property or real estate environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
