Job Summary:

The Warehouse Transformation Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end transformation initiatives across warehouse operations to improve efficiency, accuracy, service levels, and cost performance. This role drives process optimization, technology implementation, warehouse layout improvements, automation projects, and change management initiatives to support the company's strategic goals. The Manager works closely with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and HR to design and implement best-in-class warehouse practices.

  • Lead warehouse transformation roadmap covering process redesign, automation, technology upgrades, and performance improvements.
  • Conduct diagnostics and gap analysis on existing warehouse processes (receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, dispatch).
  • Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions using Lean, Six Sigma, and industry best practices.
  • Develop SOPs, workflow standards, KPIs, and process documentation.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce errors, delays, and operational costs.
  • Drive implementation of WMS (Warehouse Management System), barcode/RFID systems, and digital tools.
  • Manage warehouse automation projects (conveyors, ASRS, pick-to-light, voice picking, robotics).
  • Coordinate with IT and external vendors for system upgrades and integrations.
  • Ensure successful testing, training, and adoption of new technologies.
  • Lead warehouse re-layout and storage optimization projects to maximize space utilization.
  • Analyze material flow, slotting strategies, and storage systems to improve productivity.
  • Implement safety and compliance improvements in line with company standards.
  • Set up performance metrics (KPIs) covering accuracy, efficiency, capacity, service levels, and cost.
  • Track, analyze, and report warehouse performance and improvement results.
  • Implement labor optimization strategies (workload planning, manpower modeling).
  • Support capacity planning for future growth and expansion.
  • Champion cultural change toward continuous improvement and digital adoption.
  • Communicate transformation initiatives across all warehouse teams.
  • Facilitate training programs on new systems, processes, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with HR on capability building for warehouse personnel.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and Quality teams.
  • Ensure alignment of warehouse transformation initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Act as key point of contact for leaders regarding warehouse capability and transformation progress.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Experience in FMCG, retail, food manufacturing, logistics, or distribution centers is a strong advantage.
  • At least 10 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
  • Strong background in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience implementing WMS, warehouse automation, or digital
  • Strong leadership, communication, and change management capabilities.
