Core Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing:Operate cash registers and POS systems to scan items, calculate purchase totals, accept various payment forms (cash, credit, debit, etc.), and issue accurate change and receipts.
  • Customer Service:Greet customers, answer questions, help locate items, provide product information, and resolve customer concerns to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Cash Handling:Count and balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy, manage change, and handle financial exchanges with integrity.
  • Sales & Promotions:Process coupons, handle returns and exchanges, and potentially upsell or cross-sell products to customers.
  • Store Operations:Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, assist with stocking shelves and inventory, and follow security and anti-theft policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Numerical Accuracy:Strong mathematical skills to accurately process payments, calculate change, and balance cash drawers.
  • Communication Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Technical Proficiency:Familiarity with POS systems, scanners, and other relevant equipment.
  • Customer Service:A positive attitude, patience, and a focus on providing efficient and friendly customer service.
  • Attention to Detail:The ability to ensure pricing accuracy and handle transactions with precision.
  • Reliability:Honesty, integrity, and the ability to be dependable and calm under pressure.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php16, Php17,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
