Position Summary:

The Managing Director (MD), reporting to the Vice President, Global Operations and Supply Chain, has full accountability for the strategic and operational leadership of the manufacturing site(s). This role drives factory performance across cost, quality, delivery, and compliance, while aligning local operations with global business objectives. The MD partners closely with Global Operations, Business Unit leadership, Sales, and Engineering to support growth, new business development, and customer requirements. As the senior site leader, the MD ensures regulatory compliance, champions a strong customer- and quality-focused culture, leads continuous improvement initiatives, and builds a high-performing, ethical, and accountable organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and executes factory operations plans, including budgets, cost targets, resource planning, and production schedules.
• Partners with VP Operations and Business Unit leadership to drive strategies aligned with corporate growth, profitability, and sustainability goals.
• Ensures manufacturing performance meets or exceeds cost, quality, and delivery expectations.
• Supports new business and customer requirements in close collaboration with Sales and Business Unit Engineering.
• Oversees factory site management, including legal entity responsibilities and compliance with local regulations in the Philippines.
• Drives a customer-focused quality culture aligned with global Quality objectives.
• Leads continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.
• Provides strong leadership and ethical role modeling, fostering a high-performance and accountable organization.

• Proven experience managing high-precision machine shops with strong CNC machining knowledge.

Ethics, Compliance, and EHS Responsibilities

• In all area of responsibilities, the incumbent is responsible in demonstrating integrity in its business dealings with people & organizations and should operate consistent to its corporate highest ethical standards.
• In all area of responsibilities, the incumbent is responsible in assuring that appropriate measures are in place which has a direct impact to the Health and Safety of the employees and protection of the environment.
• Performs work safely and in accordance with the EHS Policy, Procedures and provisions of the Standards, and to report any work hazard (unsafe conditions or unsafe practices) that may be discover in the workplace and to make suggestion for correction or removal of the potential hazards.
• Practices the 5S and waste segregation program, and to support the activities on waste reduction, storm drain management, water and energy consumption reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required); advanced degree or MBA preferred
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar leadership or operations role within a global manufacturing environment
• Experience in high-precision CNC machining strongly preferred
• Fluent in English, with proven effectiveness working across global management teams
• Strong communication, judgment, and ability to manage competing priorities
• Data-driven leader with a strong control mindset and ability to drive disciplined operations

Monthly Salary: PHP 900,000 to 1,400,000
