About the Role

The
IT Business Analyst
plays a pivotal role in bridging credit risk and loan operations teams with IT, focusing on the optimization of credit analysis and loan management platforms. The position ensures that the configuration and administration of these systems align with organizational policies and business goals by collaborating closely with credit analysts, loan officers, IT engineers, and other stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include requirements gathering, system configuration, data analysis, quality assurance, stakeholder communication, and continuous process improvement. The role demands strong expertise in financial systems (CreditLens and LoanIQ), credit risk workflows, and loan lifecycle management.

Scope of Work / Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

• Collaborate with credit risk and loan operations teams to document and refine business requirements.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify system enhancements or configurations required to meet business objectives.

System Configuration and Deployment

• Configure Moody's CreditLens for credit rating models, portfolio management, and reporting.
• Support setup and configuration of loan-servicing platforms for origination, servicing, and management.
• Coordinate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration between credit-risk and loan-servicing platforms.

Data Analysis and Reporting

• Develop SQL queries and use data analysis tools for extraction, validation, and reporting.
• Provide insights to stakeholders through dashboards and reports (using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools).
• Maintain a strong understanding of company's NSO IT Products, including CreditLens structure, SQL tables, and terminologies.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Develop test cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for new implementations or upgrades.
• Validate system performance and integrity post-deployment.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication

• Act as liaison between business units and IT, ensuring alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Lead user training sessions on new features, workflows, and updates.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process optimization in credit and loan workflows.
• Recommend system enhancements or new tools to improve efficiency, automation, and decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience as a Business Analyst on financial software projects.
• Demonstrated expertise with credit risk and loan management systems; prior experience with
  Moody's CreditLens
  and
  Finastra LoanIQ
  is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of credit risk concepts (PD, LGD, credit ratings) and loan lifecycle stages.

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of CreditLens workflows, rating model configurations, and implementation in banking environments.
• Hands-on experience with LoanIQ configuration, loan product management, and module rollout.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
• Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) for dashboard development.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams).

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid arrangement
  , with mandatory onsite reporting to Headquarters three (3) times per week, or as required by the user unit.
