We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and responsible HR Timekeeper to accurately monitor, record, and maintain employee time and attendance data. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine labor laws to support timely and accurate payroll processing. This role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Responsibilities
- Record and monitor employee attendance, including arrival/departure times, breaks, and overtime.
- Review and verify timesheets, daily time records (DTR), and other timekeeping documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in timekeeping records by coordinating with employees and departmental managers.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll by providing accurate time data and related reports to the payroll team.
- Process employee time-off requests, including vacation, sick leave, and other leaves of absence, and update leave balances in the HRIS.
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant Philippine labor laws and regulations concerning work hours, overtime, and mandatory benefits.
- Generate regular reports on attendance, tardiness, overtime, and productivity for management review.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee data and 201 files, both in physical and digital formats.
- Assist with other administrative and HR-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 1 to 2 years in a timekeeping, payroll, or HR-related role is preferred. Fresh graduates may be considered for entry-level positions.
- Proficiency in timekeeping software, HR Information Systems (HRIS), and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, is essential.
- Strong knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code and other regulations concerning timekeeping and payroll.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of employees.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive employee and payroll information.
- A resourceful, results-oriented, and self-motivated work ethic.
