A Safety Officer's primary responsibility is to plan, implement, and oversee workplace safety, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. They conduct inspections, assess hazards, and implement corrective actions to create a safe work environment. Construction safety officers create, implement and enforce safety policies that reduce the risk of accidents. It is their responsibility to determine which policies are necessary for the job site and how to enforce them.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH) Certificate

  • Must hold a First Aid Certificate and ID

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry

  • Familiarity with DOLE reports and requirements

  • Proficient in computer usage

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
