Job Summary:

We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsible for the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of heavy equipment vehicles. The ideal candidate must have experience in diesel engine repairs, under-chassis replacements, and general equipment maintenance to ensure all company-owned vehicles and machinery are in excellent working condition.


Qualifications:
  • Candidate must be a graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Technology, Diesel Mechanics, or any related technical/vocational course
  • TESDA accreditation is an advantage
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of related work experience in heavy equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Proficient in handling repairs and maintenance of heavy equipment vehicles, including diesel engines, hydraulics, and under-chassis components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledgeable in safety procedures and standards related to equipment maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all company-owned vehicles and equipment are well-maintained and in good running condition
  • Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot diesel engines and other heavy equipment issues
  • Perform overhauls on defective engines and replace or repair under-chassis components as needed
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and ensure timely repair schedules
  • Maintain accurate records of defects, repairs, and maintenance activities
  • Ensure all repair and maintenance work is completed efficiently and in a timely manner
