Southwestern University Medical Center is looking for a proactive HR Assistant (Reliever) with the chance to grow into a regular role.
Job Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist in posting job vacancies and coordinating the recruitment process.
- Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding status and requirements.
- Prepare and process employment contracts, job offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires and ensure complete submission of pre-employment requirements.
Employee Records & Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and physical 201 file.
- Assist in updating HR databases and generating HR reports as required.
- Draft, prepare, and coordinate requests of Certificates of Employment (COEs) for current and former employees, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
HR Operations & Employee Support
- Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Provide support during audits and HR reporting requirements.
- Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement activities, performance appraisals, and employee events.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by the HR Head.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in HR, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting is a plus but not required
