We are hiring Remote Nurses to support our clinical and administrative operations. This is a full-time, fully remote role ideal for candidates with strong documentation skills and experience in patient chart preparation.

About the Role

We are seeking two dedicated Remote Nurses to assist with both clinical and nonclinical tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while handling patient documentation, chart preparation, and administrative responsibilities.


Clinical Responsibilities
New Patient Documentation / Chart Preparation (OSA – Obstructive Sleep Apnea)
  • Complete HPI using templates
  • Document summaries of previous sleep study reports
  • Obtain PAP device serial numbers for wireless access/compliance downloads
  • Ensure all relevant providers are included (referring, PCP, psych, etc.)
  • Add pharmacy information
  • Provide OSA and HST/PSG education
  • Prepare A&P using existing Athena shortcuts
  • Set up sleep study orders
  • Prepare outgoing letters
Return Visit Documentation / Chart Prep (OSA)
  • Copy/paste previous notes as appropriate
  • Document the most recent HST/PSG results
  • Summarize PAP settings and compliance data
  • Document the visit's Chief Complaint
  • Summarize current sleep schedule/average TST
  • Update PMH
  • Update current medication list
  • Set up RTO
  • Ensure providers and pharmacies are up to date
  • Prepare referral letters
  • Set up DME/OAT orders
Patient Cases
  • Manage and document patient cases
Refills
  • Document last fill date and last office visit for controlled prescriptions

Nonclinical Responsibilities
Administrative Tasks
  • Prepare PA appeal letters, DOT/FAA compliance letters, and other forms
  • Review clinical inbox and summarize sleep study results from outside facilities
  • Prior authorization for PSGs
  • Prior authorization for medications
  • Medication appeals
  • HST interpretation preparation

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or similar professional background
  • Experience with patient documentation and chart preparation
  • Familiarity with PAP therapy and sleep study protocols
  • Proficiency with Athena EMR
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
