The Sales and Marketing Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative, analytical, and strategic support to the National Sales Manager (NSM) and the sales team. This role is responsible for managing communications, preparing reports and presentations, tracking sales performance, and ensuring smooth coordination between District Sales Managers (DSMs), Medical Representatives, and the Sales Admin team. The position also involves consolidating and analyzing sales data, supporting campaign execution, and maintaining organized documentation to help drive efficiency and effectiveness in sales operations. By acting as the central point of communication and support, the Sales Support Officer plays a vital role in enabling the NSM to focus on strategic business priorities and achieving sales targets.

Job Responsibilities:

Administrative & Communication Support

  • Draft, review, and finalize emails, announcements, memos, and official communications on behalf of National Sales Manager
  • Manage NSM's calendar, appointments, and reminders for key deadlines, meetings, and follow-ups.
  • Act as the first point of contact for District Slaes Manager's and Sales Admin Team regarding updates, clarifications, and pending tasks.

Presentation & Documentation

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for product promotions, sales reviews, training decks, and management meetings.
  • Maintain updated sales playbooks, training manuals, and product decks.
  • Draft reports & proposals for internal and external stakeholders.

Sales Data & Performance Tracking

  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze sales data from DSMs and Medreps (monthly, weekly, quarterly).
  • Prepare performance dashboards & reports for NSM's review.
  • Track sales targets, achievement vs. plan, and growth trends.
  • Assist in preparing incentive/bonus calculations for DSMs and Medreps.

Follow-ups & Coordination

  • Ensure regular follow-ups with DSMs on: Doctor coverage plans, Sales targets & updates, Pending tasks/reports
  • Coordinate with Sales Admin team for order processing, hospital updates, and pending payments.
  • Keep a task tracker for NSM to monitor what's pending, completed, or escalated.

Strategic Support

  • Assist NSM in market research & competitor tracking.
  • Provide support in campaign execution (e.g., "One Team, One Goal", bundle promotions, doctor engagement activities).
  • Suggest improvements in sales processes, reporting formats, and team productivity tools.

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, or related field.
  • 2–4 years in executive assistance, sales admin, or operations support, preferably in pharma/healthcare/FMCG.
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Good in data analysis & reporting.
  • Excellent English communication (written & verbal).
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Knowledge of pharma/medical sales processes is an advantage.
