JOB OVERVIEW

The On Call waiter is expected to interact to the guest and provide great dining experience. The server is expected to provide knowledge about the menu and follow the standard sequence of service. The server is also tasked to maintain orderliness and cleanliness in the dining area. The server should also be attentive to guests needs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that the dining room is properly set and clean by following the dining checklist consistently.
  • Sets up the table according to standard table set up specified in the manual.
  • Greets the guest upon entering the restaurant.
  • Provides clean and enough menu to the guest.
  • Knowledgeable about the menu and should be able to answer queries about the food and beverage items.
  • Upsells wine or bottled water before taking orders.
  • Performs wine service and properly opens a wine bottle in front of the guest.
  • Suggests drinks that will complement food selection.
  • Explains and promotes on-going or future promotions.
  • Takes food and beverages orders and enter them accurately in the POS. Specifies special instructions and relay them to the Kitchen.
  • Anticipating and responding to guest needs promptly.
  • Serves the food order according to standard serving time. Standard serving gear should be included.
  • Maintains table appearance. Pre-bussing as necessary.
  • Provides secondary service such as extra napkins, water refill.
  • Checks the items in the bill before showing it to the guest.
  • Acknowledges payment received from the guest.
  • Provides receipt, change or card slip.
  • Bids farewell to the guest with an invitation to return.
  • Should be able to cross-train to other stations as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be available during weekend
  • Preferably with at least 6 months of working experience in a food industry
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; student are open to apply
  • Excellent communication skills; must be fluent in English
  • Positive interpersonal skill is required

Job Types: Part-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php800.00 per day
