Job Description

-Month-end and year-end close activities supervision / coordination

-Reconciled general ledger accounts

-Timely preparation of individual FS reports and consolidation of FS reports for all GT entities

-Review and posting of journal entries of the individual FS with no projects prepared by GL staff

-Supervise intercompany transactions and reconciliations

-Assist during month-end closing activities such as accruals of recurring expenses. Assist in the preparation of audit samples during annual audit.

-Assist Accounting Manager/Director in the overall guidance to accounting staffs.

-Monthly updating and preparation of Sales & Marketing and Admin Budget vs Actual expenses for Manila

-FS schedules and reports such Monthly OPEX report, CAPEX report including Project cost-payment monitoring

-Leads the periodic Fixed Asset inventory and tagging for offices and showroom

-Generates and analyze special reports as requested

-Identify and resolved issues in accounting processes

-Preparation of working trial balance for assigned entities and schedules for FS audit.

-Preparation of Surgical FS for review of Accounting Director

-Accomplish of Audit confirmations, MRL, subsequent events questionnaire, and secure sign off from management.

-Assist in coordination with Auditor regarding the audit status per entity

-Assist AD in overall Audit coordination and submission of requirements needed

-Suggest or recommends improvements to policies and procedures for internal control

-Checking and approving of Petty Cash Replenishments Journal entry made by Accounting Staff

-Checking and Approving for all accruals, adjusting entries of AP Staff

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is an advantage with at least 3 years experience in General Accounting

  • Working experience in the Big 4 Audit firms is an advantage

  • With Strong analytical and research skills

  • Can work independently or with others in a team

  • Must have excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Can multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively

  • Proficient in spreadsheet and accounting systems
