Accounts Receivable Associate

The Accounts Receivable is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate financial records, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role involves billing, tracking payments, and resolving any discrepancies to ensure timely collection of receivables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices, billing statements, and credit memos.
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts.
- Follow up on overdue payments through phone, email, or official notices.
- Record all transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are properly posted.
- Maintain records of invoices, receipts, and related documents.
- Coordinate with the sales and finance departments regarding client accounts.
- Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and aging analysis.
- Resolve billing issues or disputes with customers promptly and professionally.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
