Credit and Collection Manager

Role and Responsibilities

  • Responsible in the monitoring of the field collectors (credit and collection staff, collection agent and sales team) performance or productivity
  • Responsible in developing and implementing credit policies
  • Monitor and manage the credit risk of the organization
  • Ensure timely and efficient collection of outstanding debts
  • Prepare and present reports on credit and collection activities to senior management
  • Able to lead efficiently the credit and collection team
  • Create credit risk management environment of an acceptable quality in terms of established credit guidelines
  • Conduct regular audits of credit and collections activities
  • Identify and mitigate potential credit risks
  • Develop maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Implement technology solutions to improve the credit and collection process

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years' experience in credit and collection management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven track record of reducing delinquency rates and improving cash flow
  • Comprehensive experience across Order to cash processes, including AR operations such as cash application and billing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Strong customer service orientation
