About the role

We are seeking a talented Office Quantity Surveyor/Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time role will play a crucial part in supporting our construction projects, ensuring efficient management of costs and resources.

Candidates with Master Plumber and Electrical Engineering background are preferred.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting the Quantity Surveyor/Purchasing Manager in preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for construction projects
  • Conducting site measurements and quantity take-offs to support the tendering process
  • Maintaining comprehensive cost records and project documentation
  • Monitoring and reporting on project budgets and expenditures
  • Liaising with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve cost-related issues
  • Supporting the preparation of progress claims and final accounts
  • Providing administrative support to the Quantity Surveying team/ Purchasing team as required

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials and industry regulations
