We're seeking a detail-oriented and organized Encoder to join our team. As an Encoder, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assigning codes to diagnoses and procedures for inpatient and outpatient records. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, supporting accurate billing, and informing healthcare decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze records: Carefully examine records to identify, analyze procedures, and other relevant information.
  • Assign accurate codes: Utilize coding systems to assign precise codes for diagnoses and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations: Stay up-to-date with coding guidelines, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance.
  • Meet productivity and quality standards: Achieve productivity and quality targets, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with healthcare professionals to clarify coding-related questions and provide education on coding guidelines.
  • Stay current with coding updates: Maintain expertise in coding systems and guidelines.
  • Perform data entry and maintenance: Accurately enter coded data into electronic records and maintain accurate records.
