Job Title: Corporate Communications/PR Manager

Position Summary:

The Corporate Communications/PR Manager will be responsible for managing all communications and public relations activities for Winford Resort and Casino Manila. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance the organization's public image, handling media relations, and overseeing internal and external communications, with a significant focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in public relations and corporate communications within the hospitality or gaming industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that includes public relations, media outreach, crisis management, and CSR initiatives.
  • Work with senior management to align communications strategies with the company's objectives and brand values.
  • Analyze effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust plans as needed to maximize impact.

    Media Relations:
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media representatives locally, regionally, and nationally.

    Manage press releases, press conferences, interviews, and other media interactions to ensure consistent, accurate, and positive messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage and report outcomes to the management team.

    Content Development:
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content for various communication channels including press releases, newsletters, corporate reports, and social media.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with the brand's tone and image, and effectively communicates the desired message to target audiences.

Crisis Communications:

  • Lead the development and implementation of crisis communications plans and responses.
  • Train spokespersons and management on best practices for media interaction, particularly in sensitive or crisis situations.
  • Act swiftly to manage communications during a crisis to uphold the company reputation.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):

  • Develop and lead CSR programs that reflect the resort's commitment to social responsibility and community engagement.
  • Coordinate with local organizations and stakeholders to create partnerships and initiatives that have a positive social impact.
  • Measure and report on the impact of CSR initiatives to stakeholders and the public.

    Internal Communications:
  • Develop internal communications protocols to ensure employees are informed of company developments and initiatives.
  • Create engaging and informative internal newsletters and communications that foster a positive organizational culture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a communications or public relations role, preferably in the hospitality or gaming industry.
  • Strong media relations skills and extensive media contacts.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and strategic planning abilities.
