Learning and Development Supervisor

The Learning and Development Supervisor is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance employee skills, service quality, and operational efficiency across all hotel and corporate departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the hotel's annual training and development plan in coordination with department heads.
  • Design and deliver effective training programs, including onboarding, brand/service standards, leadership, and skills development.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with department trainers or champions to ensure consistent delivery of learning initiatives.
  • Support management in developing succession planning and career development strategies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, hospitality training innovations, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • At least 2–4 years of experience in Learning and Development or Training within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and brand service standards.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse teams.
