Overview

Responsible for managing the daily operations of the claims team to ensure accurate and timely processing of claims and reimbursements. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and collaboration with departments such as Sales, Finance, and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of claims associates to ensure timely and accurate processing of claims.
  • Review and validate claims to ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies or claim-related issues.
  • Utilize SAP and other accounting software to track, report, and manage claims data.
  • Analyze claims trends and discrepancies, recommending process improvements.
  • Provide training, coaching, and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Prepare and submit reports on team performance and claim statistics.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and data integrity in all processes.
  • Oversee related finance functions, including:
  • Preparation and transmittal of DR/SI/Delivery Requirements
  • Monitoring Accounts Receivable (countering, follow-ups, collections)
  • Encoding/uploading transactions into the system
  • Preparation of sales reports and filing of documents

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Preferably with experience in a distribution company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software, particularly SAP.
  • 1–2 years of experience in claims processing or related finance functions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with proven ability to delegate and oversee workflows.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work full-time onsite in Banawe, Quezon City.
