About the Role

Our client, a global financial institution, is looking for an Intermediate Credit Analyst. This role is critical in assessing creditworthiness and supporting lending decisions for wholesale banking clients across Europe and Asia. You will work closely with international stakeholders and ensure accurate, timely credit analysis that drives risk management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) of large corporates and financial institutions.
  • Draft risk ratings and monitor financial conditions against established criteria.
  • Review loan agreements and interpret financial covenants.
  • Prepare accurate reports for global lending teams to support proactive risk management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders globally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in credit analysis or financial statement interpretation.
  • Familiarity with loan agreements and financial covenants.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills; proficiency in Excel and credit systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a global team environment.

Preferred:

  • CFA or Risk Management certifications.
  • CPA license.
  • Experience in underwriting or loan officer roles (corporate accounts only).
