Role Summary:

The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for shaping and executing MAAGAP Insurance's communication strategy across internal and external channels. The role supports business development and partnership efforts by ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging that builds credibility, drives engagement, and elevates the brand. The ideal candidate brings 5–10 years of experience, strong project management skills, excellent storytelling ability, and a deep understanding of corporate reputation building, events, media relations, and internal communication.

This role will be deeply involved in stakeholder communications, partner support, PR campaigns, digital storytelling, content development, and field engagement through events and branch activations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Corporate Messaging & Branding

  • Develop and maintain the corporate messaging framework to ensure brand consistency.
  • Draft talking points, press releases, FAQs, corporate profiles, and executive statements.
  • Ensure all internal and external communications reflect MAAGAP's core values, tone, and mission.

2. Media Relations & Publicity

  • Build and manage relationships with media outlets (TV, print, digital).
  • Craft and pitch media stories that support MAAGAP's strategic initiatives.
  • Manage press events, interviews, and PR campaigns tied to product launches, partnerships, or corporate milestones.

3. Partnership & Distribution Communication

  • Create B2B pitch decks, partner kits, digital brochures, and sales enablement material.
  • Support announcement and onboarding communication for new partnerships (social posts, press releases, internal updates).
  • Collaborate with the Alternative Distribution team to tailor messaging for emerging channels and digital touchpoints.

4. Internal Communications & Culture Building

  • Design internal campaigns to improve employee engagement and awareness of company initiatives.
  • Develop newsletters, video messages, or digital bulletin boards.
  • Work closely with HR and operations to align internal comms with business goals.

5. Event & Activation Communication

  • Oversee messaging and content for branch events, launches, and activations (e.g., event invites, emceeing scripts, video AVPs).
  • Coordinate with the events team to ensure brand visibility and talking point alignment at roadshows, expos, and seminars.
  • Prepare pre- and post-event communication packages for stakeholders and partners.

6. Digital & Content Strategy Support

  • Collaborate with digital marketing to develop brand-aligned content calendars and messaging guidelines.
  • Lead development of thought leadership articles, videos, and posts that elevate MAAGAP's industry presence.
  • Oversee the creation of visual content (e.g., CEO updates, corporate campaigns) using internal or external creatives.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5–10 years' experience in corporate communications, PR, or strategic marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills — a "brand guardian" mindset.
  • Experience coordinating events, managing media, and handling cross-functional communications.
  • Familiarity with communication tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Confident, articulate communicator who can work with senior leadership and across departments.
