Job Summary:

The Accounting Associate supports the finance and accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role ensures accuracy and compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledger entries
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
  • Help prepare invoices, expense reports, and financial statements
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting files and records
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting principles
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and support financial reporting

Requirements:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
