Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all engineering and construction activities meet the required quality standards. This includes planning and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and tests, and identifying non-conformities for corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and inspection checklists for projects.
  • Monitor and inspect all phases of construction or manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and codes.
  • Conduct material inspections and testing as per approved standards.
  • Review and verify contractor and supplier quality documentation.
  • Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
  • Attend site coordination meetings and report on QA/QC activities.
  • Ensure that corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented.
  • Liaise with third-party inspectors and auditors when required.
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with ISO or company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Licensed Engineer (preferred but not always required).
  • At least 2–5 years of experience in QA/QC roles in construction, manufacturing, or engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and QA/QC software/tools.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
