Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Citrix Administrator with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments to join our IT infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multi-site and multi-farm deployments, as well as a strong background in Citrix infrastructure design, implementation, and troubleshooting. This role is critical in supporting and maintaining our virtual application and desktop environments in a healthcare setting, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, and support Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop infrastructure across multiple sites and farms
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp, and XenDesktop environments
  • Perform Citrix upgrades and farm migrations, including planning, testing, and deployment
  • Configure and manage Roaming Profiles and Application Streaming profiles
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix printers, user profiles, resource manager thresholds, and installation manager
  • Work with multiple versions of Citrix, including Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, and NetScaler (ADC)
  • Manage Citrix environments hosted on VMware (vSphere/ESXi); experience with virtualization is a strong advantage
  • Design and implement Citrix policies to optimize performance, security, and user experience
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support infrastructure initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards and regulations

Required Skills:
  • 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Citrix Administration
  • Strong understanding of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and Presentation Server
  • Experience with Citrix upgrades and farm migrations
  • Proficient in Citrix Secure Gateway, Web Interface, NetScaler (ADC)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in Citrix printers, profiles, and policies
  • Familiarity with VMware-based Citrix farm management
  • Strong understanding of Citrix policy design and implementation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Experience working in a healthcare IT environment is a plus
