The Retail Design Intern assists the Retail Design Team in creating and maintaining best-in-class in-store experiences in existing and new stores of the brand. They help in conceptualizing in-store marketing strategies that are customer-focused and continually elevate the retail experiences of the brand through thoughtful design direction, and exceptional attention to detail for the customer's shopping experience.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Retail Marketing Strategy

  • Conceptualize in-store marketing initiatives with the objective of effectively opening new stores, launching new product and services and rolling out brand
  • Collaborate with Operations and Business Development teams to gain insights about the in-store experience and address opportunities gaps and pain points
  • Help manage job order development for all requirements from Retail Design and Creative teams
  • Stay abreast of trends and best practices in retail experiences and executions of local competitors and international standards/practices

Design Development

  • Plan and conceptualize designs according to the given project brief and/or key visual
  • Visit Sunnies Studios' social media channels for inspiration and to check if designs are aligned with the brand
  • Manipulate photos and create 3D mockups of designs to visualize how they will look like in the actual stores
  • Resize and edit videos from Creatives to properly fit all the TV Displays in stores as needed
  • Proofread designs to make sure all colors and texts are accurate and approved by the brand, to avoid the need to reproduce materials, which can highly affect the budget and the timeline of the project
  • Ensure all files are sent on time and in high resolution to suppliers

Project & People Management

  • Set and manage deadlines of deliverables from internal teams to ensure work is executed accurately and efficiently in coordination with project managers

Communication & Collaboration

  • Effectively present ideas and recommendations to Brand Marketing leaders and Visionaries
  • Encourage openness and feedback in ways of working
  • Collaborate and learn from different internal and external teams

Brand & Product Love

  • Be extremely knowledgeable in the brand's products & services
  • Show strong understanding for the brand and all its product lines

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Enrolled or graduate in a design course — Industrial Design, Fashion Design, Architecture, or any related field.
  • Proficient knowledge in Illustrator, Photoshop, and Fusion360 Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge in 3D printing and prototyping is a plus.
