We're looking for a Head of Research & Innovation who will lead our Technical Services, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs teams, driving product innovation while ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.

What you'll do

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead and manage the Research & Innovation team, including Technical Services, QA, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Provide direction, set clear objectives, and oversee daily team activities.

Research & Development Strategy

• Develop and execute R&D strategies to improve eyewear design and technology.
• Oversee research, prototyping, and testing of new products, technologies, and processes.
• Collaborate with Technical Services to streamline product development.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish, monitor, and enhance QA protocols for continuous product improvement.
• Conduct audits, address quality issues, and implement corrective actions.

Regulatory Affairs

• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards for eyewear.
• Ensure all products meet legal and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documents and applications.

Project & Resource Management

• Plan, execute, and monitor R&D projects from concept to delivery.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a relevant technical field (Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, etc.).
• Proven experience in Research & Development, ideally in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and QA processes.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building abilities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
