The Sr. Data Engineer – HR/People Analytics is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructure that supports strategic HR initiatives and people analytics efforts. This role ensures the efficient integration, transformation, and delivery of high-quality HR data from multiple sources to enable reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Working closely with HR, data analysts, and business leaders, the Sr. Data Engineer plays a critical role in empowering the organization with actionable workforce insights by ensuring data availability, integrity, and scalability within HR data platforms.

Job Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL, Azure, PySpark, Databricks and ETL concepts
  • Technical & analytical skills required, interpret customer business needs and translating them into operational requirements
  • Able to effectively explain the structure and findings of deliverables to various internal stakeholders
  • Tech stack: Azure, Data Bricks, Workday
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, Spark Applies and advocates for coding and testing standards.
  • Adheres and advocates for strong SDLC practices Ensures delivery meets team's quality, governance and framework standards.
  • Applies architectural patterns and design principles to data solutions Collaborates with architects and leads on domain and functional data models.
  • Owns overall end to end process of the resolution for small to medium sized incidents and preventive approaches.
  • Owns delivery for individual team level projects as planned Identifies & communicates risks in advance of deadlines.
  • Drives innovation within the current tech ecosystem for improving technical capabilities Improves team-level development practices through mentorship.
  • Lead code reviews, mentoring, and champion delivery quality with automated testing.
  • Communicates effectively with peers, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Simplifies technical concepts for broader audiences.
  • Be agile to deal with ambiguity and/or changing business needs and flex solutions as needed.
  • Collaborates with Data Engineers, Product Owners, and functional SMEs to align data solutions to business needs.
  • Actively participates in sprint planning and retrospectives to foster improvements.
  • Delivers high-quality work using Agile methods for individual projects.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
