About the Role:

  • Support the procurement team by purchasing medication for buy & bill patients that are on the schedule in WeInfuse within the next 4-5 days.
  • Ensure prompt arrival of all shipments
  • Troubleshoot any packages that are delayed or lost
  • Complete forms & rosters when adding a new ship to location
  • Assist with price updates & inventory checks
  • Support implementation with data entry tasks.

Weekly Tasks

  • Create purchasing plan for the current week

Priority Tasks (daily)

  • Check the buy & bill tab to ensure all drug orders have been checked in
  • if they are not troubleshoot any deliveries that are missing/delayed
  • Order buy & bill drugs medications
  • Review each location to ensure all drugs expected to arrive have been checked in by the end of day.

Monthly Tasks

Beginning of Month:

  • Meet with Angela to review the inventory reports -
  • Update cense folder
  • Label each document explaining what it is; list the provider's name, state, license type and expiration date
  • i.e: FUJINAKA CT DEA EXP
  • i.e: FUJINAKA CT State License EXP
  • When a license expires, rename the file to read "EXPIRED" in the front of the title
  • i.e: EXPIRED - FUJINAKA CT DEA EXP
  • If there is something that is newly expired, bring this to Angela's attention so we can save an updated copy.

End of Month:

  • Assist with the inventory reconciliation process & inventory checks

Future Tasks:

  • Future Project: comparing invoice price matches what we should be paying for drugs.

Quarterly:

  • Update WeInfuse of quarterly prices
