Job Summary:
The Checker is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy of products, quantities, and documentation. This role plays a key part in quality control and inventory accuracy.
Reporting Relationship
Directly reports to the Operations Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Check and verify the contents of shipments against shipping documents.
- Inspect products for damage, labeling, or quality issues.
- Document and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and placement of items.
- Coordinate with loaders/unloaders and inventory personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse checking or inventory control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
