Job Summary:

The Checker is responsible for verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the accuracy of products, quantities, and documentation. This role plays a key part in quality control and inventory accuracy.

Reporting Relationship

Directly reports to the Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check and verify the contents of shipments against shipping documents.
  • Inspect products for damage, labeling, or quality issues.
  • Document and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and placement of items.
  • Coordinate with loaders/unloaders and inventory personnel.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in warehouse checking or inventory control.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
