The Program Development and Innovations Senior Officer (Culture & Heritage) is responsible for designing, planning, and evaluating new and existing sector-specific programs. This role involves conducting research, identifying best practices, designing logic models, and capacitating organizations in sector-specific knowledge and skills, and engaging stakeholders to foster collaboration and successfully implement sector-specific interventions.

He/She should have the following:


• Strong foundational knowledge of sector-specific program development strategies, frameworks, and best practices. Demonstrates a solid understanding of the principles, methodologies, and tools required to design, implement, and evaluate programs in the sector.


• Extensive expertise in sector-specific mandates, programs, stakeholders, and emerging opportunities. Possesses in-depth knowledge of the sector's regulatory and operational landscape, key players, partnerships, and trends, enabling informed decision-making and proactive identification of potential initiatives (projects, interventions, etc.)


• Proven ability to coordinate initiatives and activities to ensure alignment with the organization's vision and strategic objectives. Skillfully integrates diverse projects and outputs, fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring that all efforts contribute toward achieving long-term organizational and sectoral goals.


• Strong capacity to manage, engage, and influence senior management and stakeholders. Excels in presenting findings, solutions, and actionable recommendations to key decision-makers, building trust and driving alignment among stakeholders to support strategic outcomes.

Job Qualifications

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Development/ Business Management, or any other related business field. An equivalent of the same in working experience is also acceptable for the position.

Years of Relevant Experience

Trained and with at least 2 - 3 years of work experience in program development, project management, monitoring, and evaluation for Culture & Heritage
