Job Objective
  • Oversee nightly retail operations by monitoring stock levels, ensuring proper merchandise display, and maintaining store standards.
  • Guarantee timely floor replenishment of new items while safeguarding products against shrinkage, damage, or loss.
Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in retail operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong background in merchandising, inventory management, and retail floor operations.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and familiar with retail/warehouse systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities; adept at problem-solving under pressure.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and issue task lists for stockers and ensure all assigned duties are completed efficiently.
  2. Assign and supervise stockers, merchandisers, and sales personnel to maintain clean and organized display units, especially for appliances.
  3. Monitor staff schedules (stockers, forklift operators, merchandisers) to ensure adequate coverage during night operations.
  4. Review receiving summaries and plan stock movement and replenishment accordingly.
  5. Prepare and update price signage, ensuring accuracy of product labels and displays.
  6. Implement and monitor all price changes in a timely manner.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of all store aisles and selling areas.
  8. Ensure all appliance displays are properly shut down before store closing.
  9. Verify that all pallets are safely and properly stored in the steel racks.
  10. Conduct short debriefings or "splinter meetings" to align night shift teams on priorities and performance.
  11. Enforce proper grooming, discipline, and adherence to company standards among staff.
  12. Carry out additional duties as assigned by immediate supervisors.
  13. Apply and uphold the Six Rights of Merchandising & Stocking: right product, right place, right time, right quantity, right quality, and right price.
